SenseMotion can be used in two ways; in SenseMotion mode 1, simply turning or tilting your wireless controller from a horizontal to a vertical position will intensify the vibrations in your massager, while mode 2 allows you to adjust intensity by applying motion ('shaking, sweeping or spinning' for want of some better words) to your massager. Should these prove tiring (they won't), the new SenseMotion Insignia also feature 6 preprogrammed vibe patterns that you can select and adjust via wireless remote.
